Aluminium-stabilised PP-R pipe for hot-water and heating distribution with reduced linear expansion.
STABI combines a PP-R carrier pipe with an aluminium stabilising layer and an outer PP-R protective layer. The aluminium layer reduces thermal expansion and helps maintain the routing of hot-water and heating pipelines.
Before welding, the outer PP-R layer and aluminium foil must be removed from the connection zone with the correct stripping tool. The prepared end is then socket-fusion welded to a compatible PP-R fitting.
